Tok bilder i en frisørsalong for noen frisørlælinger.

Line Jacobsen lurte på om jeg ville ta noen bilder for henne av modellen hun hadde stylet som den delprøve i utdannelsen. Synes disse ble bra.

Tok også noen bilder av de andre modellene der også. Legger ut bare ett av dem.

Utdrikkingslag

JA, jeg gjør det også. Ser ut som dette blir bare mer og mer utbredt.

Har flere oppdrag nå som går ut på å ta bilder i utdrikkingslag. Dette er både gøy og utfordrende. Mye "on the fly" fotografering, men også oppstilt med lys.

Dette ble en fin og hyggelig kveld, med mange fine bilder som nå er overlevert forloveren (til venstre i siste bilde).

Prøver igjen

Da prøver jeg igjen. Starter opp denne bloggen igjen. Skal nå prøve å oppdatere minimum 1-2 ganger i uken og skal omhandle alt som har med foto å gjøre.

Photoshoot på stranda

Line og Chris møtte meg på Karistranda i går kl 19:00.
Så ikke ut som om det skulle bli noe shoot på grunn av været...

...men skyene forsvant ca 18:50 og holdt seg borte under hele shooten.

Line er proff som vanlig og kaster seg i det. Kunne ikke bedt om mer. Chris tror jeg ikke har vært noe særlig forran kamera, men gjorde en god jobb. De to jobbet godt sammen.

Litt om lyset.
Parraply som vanlig, men denne gangen måtte jeg ha 3 blitzer i samme parraply for at det skulle bli nok lys til å overveie solen. Ved å legge farge tempraturen i kamera til blitz tempratur (5700k) kommer solen ut som "gull". So som lager den deilige strand følelsen i bilde.

Ny shoot - The Tapout shoot

I går tok vi oss en tur ut for å finne lokasjoner til senere shoots.

Dette syns jeg fungerte så bra, at vi ente opp med en full shoot av Hege i dag også. Hege stiller opp og poserer som en pro.

Litt om lyset.
I dag bruke jeg paraply med 2 stk 430ex'er i. Parablyen var en stor med stransperant stoff. Det er plasert på venstre side som hovedlys og solen brukes som "kicker" lys fra høyre. Bruke 430ex'ene på 1/2 styrke, ved å bruke 2 kunne jeg skyte raskere. Disse ble trølåst utløst med 1 pocket wizard. En set-up som fungerte veldig bra. I en senere post skal jeg ta bilde av oppsettet, slik at du kan se hvordan jeg har gjort det.

Alt i alt fungerte hele shoot perfect.

Hege som eksosrype!

Har bestemt meg for at denne boggen fra nå av kommer til å være norsk.
I går tok vi noen bilder, Hege og jeg. De ble meget bra...

Her har jeg brukt ett 2 lys oppsett.
1 softbox fra venstre og 1 kicker bakfra fra høyre. Kicker lyset var ca en halv stopp skarpere enn resten. Lys i rommet var så lavt at det ikke påvirket bilde.

Vi bruke ikke lang tid, men endte vell opp med 6 bilder som ble bra. Vi skal ut i kveld å ta bilder på nytt, se om vi kan skape noe nytt.

Framing!

Not a great image, but by framing it this way I think it gets more intressting.

Latly I have started looking for new ways to make images look intressting and framing is one of them. Trying to frame within a frame, makes it often more intressting.

The other thing I'm trying to do now is angles, getting down and durty also makes for "better" images. To take intressting images, put your self in intressting places. That is as easy as getting on your belly or onto of a ladder. At least you have a image the is not "normal".

The last thing a want to taught on, is what you take pictures of, try to take images of things not everybody else takes pictures of. Like details of the subject. You kid at a football game, frame is shoe of just his hand. Get closer, and closer, details, details.

Try this for another type of image...

Tagging along a photoshoot

I was tagging along with Kenneth and Tommy from Perfectmodels.no.

This was a day of fun and action. Tommy (not me, but the photographer from Perfectmodels.no) Had full control and very good with the girls. Im just waiting to see the images. I only took BTS photos, as I was the just to opserve and have fun.

And fun we had. Hege tagged along aswell, so everyone had a blast. Looking forward to see the finished resault!

Photoshoot for Health-Workers

This was realy fun. A photoshoot with Isabelle from Perfectmodels.no for Health-workers.com. It was an relaxed atmosphere when the client and the model arrived, it was then around 17:00 and I had started setting up around 16:00.

15:00 the day before, me phone rings and Sten of Health-Workers tells me that he needs me for a shoot. When? The day after at 17:00 (hehe). Not alot of time, but im up for it. Then he tels me that he needs a model aswell. Can I help? Yeah, 2 Phone calls later and we are on our way to meet the model. On my way to meet Isabelle i started getting all the permits for the location. Before I arrive at the meeting location this is also done. Isabelle from Perfectmodels is a nice looking, clean cut girl in her early 20's. We agree on all the details and I start to get the light setup in my head. Grabs a pen and paper and goes to work!

Wish I had a behind the scene image here, but here goes.
1 medium size softbox high right.
1 large umbrella under the softbox to even out the light on the legs.
2 430EX into one large umbrella onto wall behind modell.
Everything balanced out with ambient light.
Triggered with PW's

This was the idea, and now you have the chart aswell.
The shoot started as agreed on, and we started shooting. The model, was a real pro and we started getting images that the client loved. So, after 2-3 hours we were done, and started packing up. Everyone was helpfull and I'm one happy experience richer.

This is my first "real" photo job. Its for Health-workers.com, and they loved it. At least thats what they are telling me. hehe.
Im very hppy with the outcome, and the fact that I had to get the model and the location in less the 20 hours.

And now, the setup for my last image

For this sett up I used 3 strobs and 1 reflector.

The keylight is close to the camera axis on the right side. This is a beauty dish (gridded). It is also pointed infront of the model so it hits the reflector. This way we are also useing the "soft" light from the beauty dish.

For the 2 strobes behinde the model (one on each side), they are fitted with "normal" parabolic reflectors. They points towards the middle, and just a bit out from the background. Click the image for a larger image. On that image I have added all the F-stop info in the studio.

Camera: Canon 40D
Lens: EF17-40 F/4L USM (40mm)
Iso: 100
Exposure: 1/200sec at f11

The highlight on the left side is due to the silver reflector. The catchlight in her eyes is the reflection for the beauty dish.

The new year has started and I ended the last one with a photoshoot of my dauther, Frida. She just got a new haircut, and I realy think she likes it.

This year I do plan on getting more done when it comes to photo. So, Im always looking for TFP models, so I can get better at this.
